Sector Breakdown

Miami GP Race Track

Sector 1:Turns 1-8

This sector kicks off with the heaviest braking zone on the circuit at Turn 1, before transitioning quickly into high-speed corners.

🔑 Key Features:

  • Turn 1: Major overtaking point, especially at the start of the race. A perfect mix of late braking and inside line aggression.

  • Turns 2–3: Flowing and fast, demanding commitment and precision. Errors here compromise momentum into the chicane.

  • Turns 4–6: High-speed changes of direction; car balance and downforce efficiency are crucial.

  • Turn 7: Entry to a slower, more intricate sequence. Tricky traction zone.

  • Turns 8: Use the width of the track on exit of ensuring good traction.

Driver Challenge: Braking accuracy and rhythm—mistakes in early corners cost precious tenths through the flowing section.

Sector 1

Sector 2: Turns 9-16

The most technical part of the lap with tight, winding corners and a narrow racing line. Mistakes are punished here.

🔑 Key Features:

  • Turns 9: A very slight right full throttle.

  • Turn 10: Slight left with DRS available.

  • Turn 11: Hard breaking into a near hair pin. Overtaking opportunities here.

  • Turns 12–14: A low-speed chicane with a noticeable elevation drop under the bridge, one of the tightest sequences on the F1 calendar.

  • Turn 15: The exit of the S Chicane must be nailed for good traction

  • Turn 16: High-speed kink that leads onto the long DRS back straight, the fastest section of the track. DRS Detection just after Turn 16.

Driver Challenge: Precision and patience. A single lock-up can ruin not just the lap but the tyre life.

Sector 2

Founded in 2020, Advanced SimRacing (ASR) is the fastest-growing North American racing simulation chassis manufacturer and digital motorsport equipment retailer. ASR designs and builds the sturdiest and most durable aluminum profile racing simulation cockpits available in the market today.

Sector 3: Turns 17-19

Built for speed. This sector features the longest straight, prime for overtaking, followed by a tricky final complex.

🔑 Key Features:

  • Turn 17: The most dramatic braking zone and third major overtaking opportunity, especially with DRS assist.

  • Turns 18–19: Fast right-left flick before heading onto the main straight. Requires composure to carry speed without running wide.

Driver Challenge: Managing top speed and braking stability. DRS-assisted battles can be won or lost here.
